ZEISS SUPER SPEEDS HAVE BEEN A GO TO FOR DP’S FOR YEARS. they were ORIGINALLY RELEASED IN 1975 and there have been multiple iterations since. We are really excited to offer a set rehoused by TLS. Though they are optically the same as the Super Speeds we have loved for years, the TLS lens housing features a bunch of improvements, which include; a 16-blade circular iris system, consistently placed focus and iris gears, internal focus to get rid of telescoping, and the ability to use a clip-on matte box. The TLS housing will make things much easier for your AC than the prior iteration of these lenses. All of these lenses are color matched with our Zeiss Standard Speeds, making Standard Speeds a great option to round out your lens set. We do still offer a set of non re-housed super speeds, for those who may be on a tight budget or need a lens that is more compact
